Just like in the Fresh Prince of Bel-Aire, this faux ice cream cone won’t melt under studio lights, unlike the in FPB this cone isn’t made of mashed potatoes. There are a number of advantages to making an Ice cream cone out of cake and icing. The first being that if you hand your cone to a friend to hold while you go to the bathroom you won’t have to wonder whether or not they licked it all to stop it from dripping.
ICE CREAM CUP CAKES
Flat bottomed icecream cones
Mini cupcake tray
Cupcake mixture as desired
2x batches of firm icing one coloured, one plain
sprinkles
Start with your average flat bottomed cone. Stand them in mini cupcake trays for stability.
Fill the cones half way.

If you fill them more than that, You’ll get a cake volcano.

Make two mini cupcakes for every one cone you fill.
Bake as usual –these were 25 min at 350.
Cover one small cupcake with icing and turn it upside down on top of your baked cone, and the next dipped in icing turned right side up.

Colour your icing, and spoon it onto your cupcake stack. Top it off with sprinkles and enjoy!
